THE BIRTH OF THE REAL ESTATE STYLIST
TRES is owned and run by sisters Sara (left) and Amy Chamberlain (right). Originally from Wagga Wagga NSW they both moved to the big smoke "Melbourne" in 2002. With a Great Grandmother, Grandma and Mother with a unique sense of style and making a 'home', the girls embarked on a journey to turn the Property Styling industry on it's head. Both from varied backgrounds, Sara led the way to starting The Real Estate Stylist as she had already owned a successful businesses prior to TRES and had been working as an editorial stylist. Amy a powerhouse Leading Teacher (primary), quit her job to start up TRES and so the journey began.
They bought their first sofa from floor stock in October 2012 and were given their first job two days later. Little did they know how hard and labour intensive the job was. They pushed through the blood sweat and tears (literally) and have prided themselves on growing organically through word of mouth and were quickly recognised for their efforts. For this they have received some amazing press which has led to the continued success of TRES, including features in The Collective, Realestate.com.au, Domain.com.au, Rebecca Judd Loves, Commonwealth Bank Blog, AREC Convention, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Herald Sun amongst many others.
Both very passionate not only about style and property, they are very savvy businesswomen also. Now with over 15 sensational staff members and growing rapidly, the success of TRES comes with a lot of hard work, persistence, business knowledge and exceptional level of service for their vendors. They are at the forefront of the industry and pride themselves on their approach to every property.
In October 2014 they launched TRES sister brand THE ARTWORK STYLIST which quickly became a favourite brand amongst those in the know, being featured repeatedly in Inside Out Magazine, Real Living Magazine, The Block, Rebecca Judd's The Style School, Home Beautiful, The Age, Broadsheet and were the featured artist for the The Kip and Co Media Launch.
They are incredibly humble and thankful for the universe having their back on this. Working hard really does pay off.
TRES is not slowing down. Watch this space.
